Teenager’s regret,

Teenagers often use social networking sites like MySpace to post intimate personal information they come to regret, as it lets future employers (or online predators) learn about sex activity and substance abuse.

More Booze Taxes Lower Alcohol-Linked Deaths

Raising state taxes on alcohol may trigger an immediate drop in the number of people who die from alcohol-related disease, new research reveals.  The finding is based on the particular experience of Alaska, following that state’s two legislative moves to raise taxes on beer, wine and liquor in 1983 and 2002. In the first instance, the research team observed a 29 percent decline in deaths from alcohol-related disease; in the second, the apparent drop was 11 percent. “The real bottom line is that the increase in the alcohol tax saved lives,” said study lead author Alexander C. Wagenaar, a professor of epidemiology with the College of Medicine at the University of Florida in Gainesville. The study was funded by the Substance Abuse Policy Research Program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. To gauge the impact of alcohol taxes on alcohol-related disease fatalities, the authors analyzed U.S. National Center for Health Statistics data from 1976 through 2004. They tallied the number of men and women who died from a range of alcohol-related conditions, both in Alaska and across the United States, before and after Alaska’s two tax bumps. Such diseases include cirrhosis, cancer of the mouth, cancers of the esophagus, breast cancer, and a number of other pancreatic and cardiac illnesses. Alongside alcohol-related injuries and accidents, such illnesses make up the estimated 85,000 alcohol-fueled deaths occurring in the United States annually. And it should be pointed out that in public health, if we do something that reduces the death rate by just 3 or 5 percent, that’s considered to be a major success. And these tax increases reduced the risk of death from alcohol-related disease far more substantially than that.” “Just think of the healthcare cost that would be saved if we reduced the death rates across the whole country. And this is absolutely something that’s not impossible to do.” “So this study reaffirms this effect and its impact, in terms of alcohol. And it suggests that any change in public health messages concerning alcohol consumption should also involve a change in taxes, and therefore prices, as an effective means for ensuring improved health for the community.”http://health.usnews.com/articles/health/healthday/2008/11/13/booze-taxes–lower-alcohol-linked-deaths.htmlhttp://www.cspinet.org/booze/taxguide/TaxIndex.htm

“So, the implication for the other states and the country as a whole is quite amazing,”

Diabetes – Heart Health

The INTERHEART study, funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, shows that the risk of heart attack crosses geographic boundaries and correlates strongly to the so-called Western diet that favors salty snacks and fried foods, and to a lesser extent, meat. The risk, spread over five continents, is 30% higher for those who eat a Western diet, the study shows, than for those who adhere to a “prudent diet,” or one rich in fruits and vegetables. An Oriental diet, which is high in tofu and other soy products, doesn’t seem to lower or raise heart attack risk overall, according to the study. Researchers out of McMaster University in Ontario, Canada, examined dietary trends among more than 16,000 participants in 52 countries who were recruited between 1999 and 2003. One-third of the participants, or 5,761 people, were interviewed after having a single heart attack; the remaining 10,646 had no known heart disease, including angina, and did not suffer from diabetes, hypertension, or high cholesterol. The mean age of participants was between 53 and 57 years old. The study categorized eating patterns as Western, Oriental, and prudent. Participants answered written questions and were interviewed by medical personnel about their consumption of 19 food categories, including leafy greens, pickled foods, dairy products, and desserts. All answers were scored according to dietary risk. The study accounted for other risk factors like smoking, body mass index, age, physical activity, sex, and geographical region in assessing overall heart attack risk. It did not track long-term changes in regional eating habits and their link with health problems. Researchers concluded that the higher the regular intake of fried and salty foods, the higher the risk of heart attack regardless of which region of the world one resides in; prudent dietary habits carried the lowest risk. An Oriental diet seemed to be protective against heart attack in some regions of the world, but was not the best hedge overall, perhaps because of the high salt content of soy and other sauces common in the dining choices.  “The objective of this study was to understand the modifiable risk factors of heart attacks at a global level,” says Salim Yusuf, DPhil, the study’s senior author. “This study indicates that the same relationships that are observed in Western countries exist in different regions of the world.” Yusuf is a professor of medicine at McMaster University and is director of the Population Health Research Institute at Hamilton Health Sciences in Ontario, Canada. The study acknowledges that serving sizes and preparation technique (the type of fat used in cooking, for example) could play a role in increasing heart attack risk in participants adhering to a Western diet.  http://www.webmd.com/heart-disease/news/20081020/western-diet-is-a-global-heart-risk

Oct. 27, 2008 — A review of 40 clinical drug trials failed to produce reliable conclusions about the effects of oral diabetes medicines on cardiovascular health, despite controversy over the drug Avandia. However, researchers at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health did find that metformin seemed to be associated with a decrease in heart disease and heart-related deaths Despite a finding that the drug trials, most of them short-term, were not comprehensive enough to yield the best data, researchers point to metformin as a drug that is “moderately protective” and Avandia as “possibly harmful.” The earlier analysis of the effect of diabetes drugs on cardiovascular health, reported in TheNew England Journal of Medicine in 2007, showed that Avandia, which works well to reduce blood sugar, was associated with a higher risk of heart attack. However, researchers in that case also acknowledged that their conclusions were limited by a lack of access to original clinical data. http://www.webmd.com/heart-disease/news/20081027/do-diabetes-drugs-affect-heart-health
— It may be possible for people with type 2 diabetes to reverse a heart threat without surgery, a new study shows. The study included 358 people with type 2 diabetes who took stress tests to check their heart’s health. The stress tests showed that a fifth of the patients had silent myocardial ischemia. Translation: Those patients had no heart disease symptoms, but their heart muscle didn’t get enough oxygen during the stress test. Heart muscle needs oxygen, which it gets from blood. Blood flow to the heart muscle suffers if the coronary arteries narrow. Ischemia (and possibly a heart attack) can be the result. The patients and their doctors were free to pick any ischemia treatment. None of the patients got surgery, but they tended to start taking at least one of the following medications:
Aspirin
Statin drugs, which lower LDL (“bad”) cholesterol
ACE inhibitors, which lower blood pressure
Three years after their initial stress test, the patients repeated the stress test. The researchers expected that the patients’ ischemia would have worsened. But they were wrong. Of the 71 patients who had ischemia at the study’s start, 56 patients (79%) no longer had ischemia three years later. That finding was “striking and unexpected,” write Yale University’s Frans Wackers, MD, and colleagues. The researchers aren’t sure that the medications reversed ischemia. For instance, the study doesn’t show whether the patients also got serious about their diet and exercise after learning they had silent cardiac ischemia, or which medications helped most. The surprising results deserve further research, Wackers and colleagues conclude.

Potassium and Your Heart

Potassium is a simple mineral with a crucial job: helping your heart beat. A hundred thousand times a day, potassium helps trigger your heart’s squeeze of blood through your body. If you have high blood pressure, heart failure, or heart rhythm problems, getting enough potassium is especially important. And although potassium and cholesterol aren’t directly related, eating a potassium-rich diet just might lower your cholesterol, too.

Potassium: Abundant and invisible

Potassium exists in abundance in soil and seawater. A healthy amount of potassium is essential to all plant and animal life. A critical electrolyte, potassium allows our muscles to move, our nerves to fire and our kidneys to filter blood. The right balance of potassium literally allows the heart to beat. Most people get plenty of potassium just by eating a normal American diet. The main source of potassium in our food is fruits and vegetables. Dairy products, whole grains, meat, and fish also provide potassium.

Excellent sources of potassium include:

  • potatoes
  • tomatoes
  • avocados
  • fresh fruits (bananas, oranges, and strawberries)
  • orange juice
  • dried fruits (raisins, apricots, prunes, and dates)
  • spinach
  • beans and peas

Eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables is the best way to get enough potassium. You’ll also get the other benefits of a high fruits-and-veggies diet. Those include:

  • reduction of heart disease risk
  • lower cancer risk
  • lower risk for obesity

Potassium and your heart

In healthy amounts, potassium is a heart-friendly mineral. Potassium doesn’t treat or prevent heart disease. Numerous studies show, though, that getting enough potassium has heart-healthy benefits in several important ways.

Potassium and high blood pressure

In one major study of people with high blood pressure, taking potassium supplements reduced systolic blood pressure (the top number) by about 8 points. But you don’t have to pop potassium pills to get the heart-healthy benefits. A diet high in fruits and vegetables (good sources of potassium) and fat-free or low-fat dairy foods can help lower systolic blood pressure by more than 10 points in people with hypertension.

Potassium and high cholesterol

A direct link between potassium and cholesterol hasn’t been established. But it’s interesting that many diets proven to lower cholesterol are also high in potassium. If you have abnormal cholesterol levels, you’re at higher than average risk for heart disease. The same goes for anyone with any of the other risk factors for atherosclerosis:

  • smoking
  • high blood pressure
  • age over 55 for men or 65 for women
  • lack of exercise
  • obesity

Taking potassium isn’t known to reduce the risk of heart attacks. But by making sure you’re taking in enough potassium, you’ll probably end up eating more fruits and vegetables. A healthy diet — high in fruits and veggies and low in saturated fat and cholesterol — can help cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of heart disease

Potassium and abnormal heart rhythms (arrhythmias)

For people with abnormal heart rhythms, potassium may be even more important. Potassium is hiding inside every heartbeat. Each heart muscle needs just the right potassium balance in order to contract in a coordinated fashion.

People who’ve had abnormal heart rhythms — arrhythmias or dysrhythmias — are at risk for an uncoordinated heart rhythm. Some abnormal heart rhythms include:

  • atrial fibrillation
  • atrial flutter
  • ventricular tachycardia
  • ventricular fibrillation
  • supraventricular tachycardia
  • Wolf-Parkinson-White syndrome

People with a history of arrhythmias should see a doctor on a regular basis. A periodic potassium check might be part of your routine doctor’s visits.

Potassium and heart failure

For many people with heart failure (also called congestive heart failure), getting enough potassium is especially important. Some diuretics — water pills — for heart failure can cause you to lose potassium in the urine. Potassium supplements or a potassium-rich diet can put it back. Ask your doctor before starting a potassium supplement on your own because it may not be necessary.

Potassium: How much?

When it comes to potassium, it is possible to have too much of a good thing. Healthy people shouldn’t have any problems from eating a high-potassium diet or taking potassium supplements as directed. But people with kidney problems or certain other conditions such as the following need to be cautious about potassium intake:

  • acute renal failure
  • chronic kidney disease or dialysis dependence
  • use of medications that increase potassium levels, including spironolactone (Aldactone), triamterene, or trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole (Bactrim)

How much potassium should you be eating? The easiest thing to do is to increase the amount of high-potassium fruits and vegetables in your diet. You’ll be getting plenty of potassium — with no calculator required.

If you really feel like counting, the USDA recommends 4,700 milligrams of potassium per day. You can find the potassium content in foods on their package labels or from the USDA Web site: http://www.nal.usda.gov.

when you have lost it all now

(Eccl 7:20 KJV)  For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.

When you have absolutely nothing, and you have lost it all, everything you had, your friends, money, job, family,  health and you in desperation do now again maybe cry out to God how does he respond next? maybe you won’t know the answer until you walk in these shoes yourself??

Now I have been there now a few times and God next responds the same way.. “I will never leave you or forsake you, I will always be there holding your hand”..

(2 Cor 1:3 KJV)  Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

(Eph 1:17 KJV)  That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

(Heb 13:8 KJV)  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

(2 John 1:3 KJV)  Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

and why does God now he God respond  in  this manner of reminding you firstly of his presence ?

God reminds us of his continual presence and nothing takes God by surprise, nothing can prevail against God , (John 21:24 KJV)  This is the disciple which testified of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.

(Rom 8:28 KJV)  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

(1 John 5:19 KJV)  And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

(1 John 5:20 KJV)  And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

We need to refocus on God always..

(Exo 33:14 KJV)  And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

(Jer 5:22 KJV)  Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?

(Jer 23:39 KJV)  Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and cast you out of my presence:

(Ezek 38:20 KJV)  So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

(Phil 2:12 KJV)  Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Face Life with a positive attitude

(Phil 3:1 KJV)  Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

(Phil 4:4 KJV)  Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

(Gal 3:5 KJV)  He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

(Acts 20:21 KJV)  Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:.. But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. – 1Peter 4:12, 13

Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf… Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. – 1 Peter 4:16,19

What initially ALSO appeared as the most tragic demonic events in my own life

next, they had  turned  out to be the most blessed event, even prolonging my life.

Imagine that I  as an adult in Calgary Alberta was firstly fired from my job because I had refused to cheat, lie, steal on behalf of my firm. Next my sadly unfaithful wife filed for divorce, and she even stole my personal belongings and my 3 children too, even our house next went into foreclosure and was taken over by the bank, so what can happen worse than that?

Well next the pastor of the local church tried to kick me out of the local church cause I could not longer give to him, and he for sure falsely was not willing to give in return.. What next?

Well for 2 years the lying, pretending local  bad doctors, hospital  could find anything wrong with me too.. even though I knew for sure there was something wrong with me..

So I next moved back to my home town, Montreal to another province, Quebec.

Shortly the doctors there confirmed the fact that I need quintuplet heart by pass surgery, and they also next installed a pacer, and a  defliberator as well.. thus  prolonging my life much longer than had I strayed in Calgary Alberta.

You see I was working and living in Calgary Alberta in 1982 and for 2 years I had gone to various doctors, I had undergone various medical tests and the doctors said they could find nothing wrong with me specifically, rather it appears they must have known the truth but refused to do anything, for the Alberta government has a policy that they give medical services priority mainly to people born in Alberta. Had my wife not filed for divorce for sure I would have had been dead next there, and when she filed for divorce, we lost our home as the lawyers had seized it  for their future payments, so next I had no choice but to eventually go back to Montreal to firstly get medical help cause I was in continually stomach  pains. By the blood pressure alone the doctor should have know how seriously I was sick, 165/145.. my wife being a nurse she knew right away.. God even told me I was seriously ill.. and he had refused to allow me to work hard.

When I got to Montréal and visited the McGill Hospital, the doctors here said I was ok originally, amused me and put me into a bed for 4 weeks and conducted no medical tests at all.. next finally they decided to discharge me, but someone had to sign off on me and they decided to do one test, the echo gram, the technician doing the test next she start to cry, and I asked her why she was crying, she replied that I was too young to have such a serious heart problem, 1/3 of my heart was dead. The next day the doctor said the McGill Hospital  came and told me that there was nothing they could do for me, I would have to go home and get ready to die. But right then at the same time I heard Jesus say “do not worry Paul, it will all turn  out all right”.. so next day the 2 doctors came back and and said they will give me a heart surgery tomorrow, a quintuplet heart by pass. After the heart surgery I was totally normal for 2 weeks but then it seemed to have been inadequate.. the surgery was only partially successful. I was able to walk but I had difficulties in any serious exercise, physical activity.  God told me next he took my wife away cause it was her bad cooking that was killing me, something the dieticians confirmed next too.  He God had now freed me to work on the internet, I have been on the internet actually since computers had first started in the 80’s  both as a political lobbyist on behalf of all Canadians,    as a Christian pastor promoting God’s truth.

I had now also wanted to return to Alberta, because I loved the weather and scenery there,so  as I prayed as to why I could not go back there. God told me I he had provided everything I needed in the city of LaSalle Montreal where I was I was even for my medical care. I shortly had a vision. It was a view of Montreal from above, but on the south side of the Montréal, across the river instead was a huge European looking city. I was told I could not cross the south  river, and I saw from the air above the Montreal General Hospital and I was told I would have to go there next. That week my main doctor called and said I would have to go to the hospital to have a defliberator installed for I have a tendency to die in my sleep. So they implanted the medical device and next it significantly improved my breathing.

I was now also basically limited to biking, since walking any long distance was too difficult for me but eventually next even Biking that  was too hard for me, I could not make it up the hill. So in desperation I prayed and told God that. Just after I had prayed the phone rang and a fellow said he had acquired an electric bike he would like to sell me.  I bought it, and it really solved my biking need. I loved it. I could travel at 30 mph and do about 60 miles before I recharge it, bout 2 a week.

Meanwhile I continue on the net daily for hours, generally my mornings at least, writing my messages, replying to letters. I have been happy, fulfilled  with God the last 15 years too. I have been very visibly active on the net as a Christian, even daily writing Bible devotionals to many pastors, college students too. Gladly  here doing the work of the Lord. Although I liked being a pastor of a home church better in Calgary, I loved the daily home , hospital and political visitations too. So as you see there are no complaints here. God let me serve him  more next  instead of having me die. God had said to me also he had let me live cause I had served him..

Is 61:1 THE SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed {and} qualified me to preach the Gospel {of} good tidings to the meek, the poor, {and} afflicted; He has sent me to bind up {and} heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison {and} of the eyes to those who are bound,  Is 61:2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favor] and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, Is 61:3 To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion–to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, {and} failing spirit–that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. Is 61:4 And they shall rebuild the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former desolations and renew the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations.

Is 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul will exult in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. Is 61:11 For as [surely as] the earth brings forth its shoots, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to spring forth, so [surely] the Lord God will cause rightness {and} justice and praise to spring forth before all the nations [through the self-fulfilling power of His word].

Is 62:11 Behold, the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the earth: Say to the Daughter of Zion, Behold, your salvation comes [in the person of the Lord]; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work {and} recompense before Him. Is 62:12 And they shall call them the Holy People, the Redeemed of the Lord; and you shall be called Sought Out, a City Not Forsaken.

God through Jesus Christ has promised to deliver us from all of sickness, sadness, sorrows, troubles even today, and we can stand on many such  promises in his Word, the Bible. There is no pit that you fall into that is so deep that Jesus now next cannot still help you out off.

(Jer 17:5 KJV)  Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. 6   For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. 7  Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.8   For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

How to deal with the Negative circumstances in your life..

(2 Cor 1:2 KJV)  Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 3   Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 5  For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

How to deal with the Negative circumstances in your life.. and sooner or later we all have them.

1: Be open, honest. Don’t despair, ask For God’s help, wisdom to deal with it too,  and have a positive, flexible attitude, make do with what you have in the best way you can.. accept your citumstances as much as possible and live with it!  (James 1:5 KJV)  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

2: You have to also now  realize that finally the Battle is the Lord’s, God’s, he has to deal with it.. (Rom 8:28 KJV)  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

I can honestly say that the worse things that had happened to me in the last 50 years too had turned out to be the best things next for me.. and we know that all things work for the good for those who love God..

(Rev 12:12 KJV) Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Bad things happen to all of us because of  the past sin related curse of the devil’s own rebellion, and because of our grandparents, Adam and Eve sins, as God had promised they would next happen and they do .. and most bad things are helped along by the devil and his followers too.. if we are doing things our own way, according to our own gospel, our own understanding we now also cannot even resist even the devil.. But there is a solution here too

(Mark 7:29 KJV) the devil is gone out of thy daughter.

I can say for certainly that the many bad things that happened in my life reduced when I became a bond slave, servant of Jesus Christ, I dispel many of them away now too in the name and the authority of of Jesus .. and those bad things still hat happen happened for God’s glory still next.. and for my good..
Gen 31:7 But your father has deceived me and changed my wages ten times, but God did not allow him to hurt me.In my life I have also no faced death often, and serious illnesses more than once….

Basically even initially when my children were born and they were all next facing serious sickness.. My wife, and I and our church prayed seriously for them.. and when I was next myself also became seriously ill too.. and I can assure you that in desperation I prayed seriously as well..
AND I HAVE OFTEN PRAYED FOR OTHER SICK PERSONS NOW TOO.

What initially ALSO appeared as the most tragic demonic events in my own life next, they had turned out to be the most blessed event, even prolonging my life.

Imagine that I as an adult in Calgary Alberta was firstly fired from my job because I had refused to cheat, lie, steal on behalf of my really bad employer, firm. Next my sadly unfaithful wife filed for divorce, and she even stole all of my personal belongings and my 3 children too, even our house next went into foreclosure and was taken over by the bank, so what can happen worse than that?

Well next the pastor of the local Evangelical church tried to kick me out of the local church cause I could not longer give money to him, and he for sure falsely was not willing to give in return.. So what next?

Well for 2 years the lying, pretending local bad medical doctors, hospital they could find anything wrong physically, medically with me too.. even though I knew for sure there was something wrong with me.. I had serious pains..

I loved it. I could travel at 30 mph and do about 60 miles before I recharge it, bout twice a week.

11 For as [surely as] the earth brings forth its shoots, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to spring forth, so [surely] the Lord God will cause rightness {and} justice and praise to spring forth before all the nations [through the self-fulfilling power of His word].

Is 62:11 Behold, the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the earth: Say to the Daughter of Zion, Behold, your salvation comes [in the person of the Lord]; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work {and} recompense before Him. Is 62:12 And they shall call them the Holy People, the Redeemed of the Lord; and you shall be called Sought Out, a City Not Forsaken.God through Jesus Christ has promised to deliver us from all of sickness, sadness, sorrows, troubles even today, and we can stand on many such promises in his Word, the Bible. There is no pit that you fall into that is so deep that Jesus now next cannot still help you out off.We may not always understand why things happen but there are some things we can count on:
1). Christ will be there in the storms for those that have placed their trust in Him. Several episodes from Jesus life point to this fact and none stand out more then when the disciples and Jesus were in a boat on the Sea of Galilee and a storm over takes them. Jesus was there and He did not “poof” at the first sign of trouble. Sometimes Jesus will calm the storm in our life but other times He will not. But He will always be there.

2). Bad things happen to good people, bad things happen to bad people. Bad things happen. The causation of the tragedy may differ but the result is the same. Whether by a poor decision on your part, a poor decision by somebody else part really matters not. Just as with death and taxes, tragedy is almost guaranteed for us all.

3). Bad things happen to good people, in my own honest opinion, sometimes to show that God’s faithfulness and a person’s faithfulness to God. How a christian responds to a tragedy speaks more about what they believe than when there are times of joy and prosperity. The world watches how a christian responds to adversity to see if God really does make a difference.

4). One thing we tend to forget is that God’s initial intention was never for things to be the way they are. His initial purpose was for there to be a intimate fellowship between Him and His creation. However the everything was corrupted with the fall of Adam and Eve into sin. The corruption not only affected the relationship between God and man but also affect our world. Death, suffering, sickness, and despair are all a result of the fall of man into sin.

I too have gone through some things I never thought I would have to face. Did I question? Yes. Did I wish it never happened? Of course. Did I doubt? To be perfectly honest I did. But you know God is bigger than my doubts and questions. His shoulders are big enough to carry me when I do not understand . God used a particular painful part of my life to teach me more about Him.

As I was enduring this painful time three questions always seemed to arise.

1). What did I believe about God?

2). Why did I believe it? and

3) Do I trust His promises?

To sum it up let me quote Theodore Roosevelt “The way we endure what we must endure is more important the the trial itself”” it seems..

As Joseph found out firsthand many times too, Our dreams seem to die, but God has a way of keeping them alive.. (Gen 37:5 KJV)  And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. (Gen 37:28 KJV)  Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt.

Many professing Christian persons still do have concerns such as “Teach me how to pray for healing?” or ” I Prayed for healing but nothing happened yet?”

It is firstly important to remember that the right of praying for healing in Jesus name by faith in God’s word, his written promise to us is the Children’s bread only, meaning this right belongs to all real genuine Christians, not to secular or still ungodly persons basically. Secondly if you prayed for healing, and nothing happen first give it some time, secondly pray again till you do next get the healing, even pray to find out why the healing has not happened..

Now I know very specifically that I with 2 other church elders had prayed in a specific period for 28 people to be healed, and yet next only half were undeniably healing, but God there at the same time had revealed simultaneously to all three of us the same reasons, obstacles as to why the other persons were still not healed, including their unconfessed major sins, personal inadequacies that had to be dealt with, and in some of those cases next we prayed again for the same persons and they were healed or delivered from their bondage, sicknesses.

If you are a false teacher, a false prophet, and there are much too many of them in the Christian, secular environment, do not basically expect God firstly and rightfully to hear your prayers.. even for healing. You rather need first to get right with God yourself.

Phil 4:4 KJV) Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

More Wine does not prevent Cancers, nor does being a drunk, or smoking, doing bad drugs prolong ones health too.. Only Jesus does..

I can honestly say that the worse things that had happened to me in my own life next had turned out to be the best thing for me.. they caused me to grow spiritually and to grow closer to the Lord too, and we know that all things work for the good for those who love God..

(2 Cor 1:3 KJV) Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

(2 Cor 1:4 KJV) Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

(2 Cor 1:5 KJV) For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

(2 Cor 1:6 KJV) And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

(2 Cor 1:7 KJV) And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.

“One thing is pretty certain in that no matter who you are, where you are, or what your religious affiliation is you will encounter some very hard things. We may not always understand why things happen but there are some things we can count on:

The third  worse thing supposedly that happened to me  initially was finding out I was going blind cause I had diabetes turned out to be another blessing.. a more stringent food diet, plus the diabetes medicine itself led to my health, heart problems improving next instead.. 30 percent of persons who take the diabete pill, medicine find out it strengthens, helps their heart also.. and here I was expecting the worse when God  made it next a blessing too.

Rage

Rage, Road rage, I am sure we have all experienced it, in different places, in different times too.. It often seems to be a by product of the place you are living it, the overall circumstances of life many people are facing, and their personal reactions to it.. these days even many women are starting to manifest it as well.

“Road rage (also road violence) is the informal name for deliberately dangerous and/or violent behavior under the influence of heightened, violent emotion such as anger and frustration, involving an automobile in use.  ”

Some persons try to attribute the rise in rage incidents to the recession, high costs of living, the social and economic frustration, family- home problems.

I could not help but notice that in one city road rages was prevalent starting Thursday night, the congested night many people get paid, go grocery shopping, or go to the taverns, pubs, bars.. drinking alcohol clearly makes some persons more aggressive.. a serious reason they should not drive after drinking alcohol..

“Rage”, “Road rage” is  dangerous and can cost people their lives!! Do not hesitate to call the police when you see it..

“One study estimates that more than half of all drivers have experienced a surge of road rage at some point, although not all bang into the offender’s rear bumper, pull a pistol, or hurl a helpless puppy into oncoming traffic. Still, tens of thousands of accidents happen each year because of aggressive driving, which is also a leading cause of death for young children. There are far more people on the road than ever before. Crowding causes aggression.   Road ragers don’t think about the consequences or even about other people on the road as real people with real families.””Road ragers are selfish, power hungry, angry, and vindictive,”  “the rager may be violent in other parts of his or her life, for instance at home or with a family. Or the tension of the commute may make domestic violence worse.” I had also noticed for deacdes  in one person’s life specifially a fight with his wife  would clearly produce road rage driving behavior..

Specifically “What Causes Road Rage??

Many things can cause road rage. Even trivial and unintentional moves can lead to an act of behind-the-wheel violence. All drivers have their own “driving personality” when they drive. Everyone expresses how they feel or act in society by their driving abilities. If someone has a lot of self-confidence and is concerned with the well being of other, then these qualities will show through their safe driving techniques.

There are many different attitudes that drivers can portray while driving.

One attitude that drivers depict is carelessness. More accidents are caused by careless drivers than anyone else. These irresponsible drivers are often not watching or paying attention to their surroundings, making dumb mistakes that could easily make someone upset. Just by not signaling when making a lane change could make another driver so angry that they want to retaliate against the careless driver which can end up with someone getting hurt.

Another attitude drivers portray is recklessness. Many reckless drivers are often teenagers; they haven’t had their license that long so they don’t know how to make the right decisions when it comes to driving. When people act reckless, they feel as if they can do anything and they won’t get caught. If a driver is driving dangerously, this not only endangers the reckless driver, it puts all the other drivers at risk, which could then lead to road rage.

Another attitude that drivers tend to have is temper. More than 80% of drivers are angry all or most of the time while driving. When people get angry, they lose their sense of judgment and values and let their instincts take control. This is especially bad while driving under tense situations. The tempered driver becomes upset over the littlest driving mistake made by another driver. They then react against that driver in an aggressive way, leading to a more harsh situation.

An Australian study estimates that about half of all traffic accidents in Australia may be due to road rage and most of the others related to alcohol, impaired driving and yet the police falsely tend to pursue revenue generating speeding traffic tickets still and why?
Road rage is a relatively serious act; it can  be seen as a violation of human and property rights , an endangerment of  other’s personal well being, security.

If all drivers would be aware of their attitudes, than there might be less cases of road rage.

Another reason why road rage may occur is because of race. It might be hard to believe, but an average of 38 road rage incidents each year are a result of a racist hate. These incidents start the same way other aggressive driving incidents, but after a little while of arguing, there is an exchange of racial comments which it then turns into a racial-road-rage dispute. These disputes are usually instigated by groups of males that are “looking for trouble.”

Another factor to road rage is the environment. One example of environmental caused road rage is noise. Noise can influence the intensity of aggression in a driver. Some music that people listen to can match their feelings that can cause them to become violent. While listening to music for some people can be soothing, this can be dangerous because it prevents some people to give less attention to the road and how they are driving. Noise can also come from outside the car; from another driver’s car. If noise can not be controlled, this can produce stress, and can make concentration more difficult for the driver.

Another environmental factor that can cause road rage is temperature. Temperature is something a driver can’t control so when it gets too cold or hot, the driver can become more agitated. It is proven, that people driving in hotter conditions become more violent easier than the people driving in cooler weather.

Overcrowding can also cause road rage. This is also something that drivers can not control. Drivers just want to go home and they don’t need thousands of other cars in their way, so they may become violent and commit an act of road rage.

Another factor of road rage is territory. To many drivers, their cars are their second most valuable possession, so they want to protect it. And if anyone gets in their way of hurting their car, they will react in a violent manner.

Another cause of road rage is the drivers’ ego. Many drivers feel like they are ranked on how well they driver. This then causes some drivers to act more superior to other drivers because they feel as if it is their right to be the most important on on the road. Drivers that act this way cause hostility between them and the other drivers. Some people feel that driving improves their self-esteem, which leads them to think that they can take more risks than others and that they can criticize or harass inferior drivers. Many drivers with big egos believe that nothing bad can happen to them, until something does.

Another cause of road rage is selfishness shown by drivers. These drivers just aren’t courteous of others and only care about what they’re doing and how they’re going to get there. Many of these drivers don’t obey the rules of the road which can lead to trouble.

Self control and anger management should be taught in every high school. “There are alternative options and ways of releasing anger. Anger management is both educational and therapeutic and there would be next a lot less road rage and domestic violence.”

Clearly some persons have not yet  developed  an  ability to handle or deflect anger, depression, setbacks, for they have not learned, have basically not matured in  how to properly relive tension, stress, How to separate the wheat from the chaff, to know what feelings should be discarded, and those that should be acted upon… and are merely reacting in a spoiled, childish, carnal behavior.. Calling the police, the fear of the law also, having PROPER LAW ENFORCEMENT can help here too… while bad law enforcement will rather escalate  the tension, violence, road rage.
Furthermore always do Get sufficient rest — for the lack of sleep leads to a loss of self control, even to poor health. Also do eat properly, at regular times, hunger can increase our personal anxiety.  Take well deserved breaks, Play and Listen to soothing, relaxing music. This can really help. Seriously always do still Limit alcohol — “Alcohol likely will make you rageful,” and seriously impair your driving. And make a serious effort  to also leave earlier for all of your destinations and  give yourself adequate time TO DO SO, so you will not have to speed, drive dangerously . “Have a positive attitude and enjoy the drive,” Don’t return gestures, overlook the negatives where possible. .

Help yourself to Make all of your road trips Heavenly not Hellish.

Now we know that more people have accident due to impaired driving, driving under the influence of drugs, alcohol and we still do need to review how much time and resources do the police deal with that firstly?

More drunk drivers,  motorists are hitting the sauce before hitting the road this holiday season too. About 1 percent of  the drivers stopped are charged  with impaired driving offences during the generally only one month long  Police province wide drunk drivers check stop campaigns . Sadly there are plenty more drivers who often still do drank like fish  get away during the rest of the year due to the limited number of police officers participating in check stops the rest of the year. We do thus know that very few of the actual people who are impaired and on the roads are caught by police. “The average person who is prepared to drive while impaired will do it about 80 times a year, repeat offenders causing the most problems.” “Drunk drivers are still; not  getting the message, quite frankly, “The average blood-alcohol reading of those charged was .165, twice the legal limit of .08. The highest reading was .25, more than three times the limit, ” The drivers range between 19 and 59 years old. The average age is 35 but a dozen are over 40. (Older drivers) too seem to be more set in their habits and  risk-takers also tend to be   resistant to all education campaigns,” And during the same period over generally ten times more people now are being charged with failing to to wear seatbelts and Highway Traffic Act offences over impaired driving, even though it is drunk drivers,  that causes many of the accidents?  All now still Unsatisfactory.

In 2006, 232 Ontarians were killed in traffic accidents in which alcohol was a factor.  “We’ve had an increased number of impaired driving fatalities in Ontario though we’re still seeing a downward trend in Ontario,” is still not enough policing here.

The danger of excessive

The danger of excessive eating, anger, emotions, mourning, boasting, or what ever is mere common sense and it next can lead to a loss of self control which will for sure next lead one to be demon possessed too sadly. Live in moderation.

Verbal abuse is always unacceptable too. So are the Bullies now too.

Verbal abuse is always unacceptable too. So are the Bullies now    Even for Christians! verbal abuse by pastorS NOW ESPECIALLY TOO.

“This is from the book by Patricia Evans http://andthenshecried.wordpress.com/2008/02/05/the-verbally-abusive-relationship-how-to-recognize-it-and-how-to-respond

Verbal abuse is a kind of battering which doesn’t leave evidence like physical abuse does. However, it can be just as painful, and recovery can take much longer. The victim of abuse lives in a gradually more confusing realm. In public she is with one man, in private he becomes another. Often, for the verbally abused woman (man), there is no witness to her reality and no one to understand her experiences. Friends and family continue to see her ex, the abuser, as a really good guy and, certainly, he agrees with them. The verbal abuser, while maintaining his charm with others, always takes his abuse behind closed doors. It is a means of holding power over his wife( husband) /partner.. Many women and some men leave a marriage and come back into the singles’ world with the diminished self-esteem that comes from a verbally abusive relationship. The fact that many of these women (men) have never even realized that they were being abused, makes it easy for them to enter another abusive relationship. A verbal abuser is an insecure person and immature person who is looking for power and control over another. In order to help you recognize abuse, remember that all forms of verbal abuse are methods of manipulating you for the purpose of establishing power over you. The following are some of the forms of verbal abuse the author helps you recognize.

  1. Withholding: a purposeful, silent treatment.
  2. Countering: a countering of your ideas, feelings, and perceptions, even going so far as to refute what he misconstrues you to have said.
  3. Discounting–a putdown of you or something you hold dear.
  4. Blocking and diverting–this is a sneaky, covert way of violating your dignity.
  5. Accusation and blame: generally involves lies about the partner’s intentions, attitudes, and motives. The author states that accusation and blame is present in all verbally abusive relationships.
  6. Judging and criticizing: lies about your personal qualities and performance.
  7. Trivializing and undermining: abusive behavior which makes light of your work, your efforts, your interests, or your concerns. The abuser attempts to dilute meaning and value in your life. Undermining might occur when your partner laughs at you, for example, when you burn yourself cooking. It is also jokes at your expense. Undermining is occurring when you feel a “so-called joke” is mean rather than funny.
  8. Name calling: no one has a right to call you degrading names. Name calling is verbal abuse.
  9. Ordering: Telling you to do something, rather than asking, or making decisions for you or for the two of you without your input.
  10. Forgetting and denial: the trickiest form of denial is forgetting. Become aware that forgetting is a form of denial that shifts all responsibility from the abuser to some “weakness of mind.”
  11. Abusive anger: this seems to be closely linked to the need to “blow up,” to dominate, to control, to go one up, and to put down. Any time you are snapped at or yelled at, you are being abused.
  12. Threatening: Physical threats and sexual threats aside, verbal threats are an effort at manipulation. For example, a threat to leave, stay out all night, or take you home immediately is a manipulation for power. The threat of “pending disaster” is designed to shatter the partner’s serenity as well as her boundaries.
  13. If you counter the abuser or attempt to explain yourself, you will probably be met with such statements as, “I don’t want to hear it, get out of my face” or “Woman you don’t have the brains“, “BYou shouldn’t have said that to me“.

f you are in a brand-new relationship and see warning signs of verbal abuse, the author suggests you might be wise to let the relationship go. It is not likely that a man (woman) who needs to dominate and control will change easily, if at all. It is also likely that when the newness of the relationship wears off, he will become more abusive. Verbal abuse can become physical in time and physical abuse is always preceded by verbal abuse, according to Evans. If you are in a long-term relationship, you can respond to the abuser as the book suggests and soon discover for yourself whether or not your mate is willing to change and stop his abusive behavior.

“If you have been verbally abused in your relationship, you may have discovered that explaining and trying to understand have not improved your relationship. Therefore, I recommend that you respond in a new way–a way that will make an emotional, psychological, and intellectual impact upon your mate.”

The abuser in your relationship may change when he finds that you do know when you are being abused, that you have set limits, that you mean what you say, and that you will not take behavior you don’t like.

If the man ( or sadly too often now a women) in your relationship remains abusive, it is not only not your fault,” but it is  your responsibility to deal with it, make it public, call the police too.

Any person cannot still fight with you of you leave his or her presences, even forever.. and there is still a good life after a failed marriage now too. I practise what I preach and often now too.

Hey if you read my many non conforming posts you will note that I definitely, and loudly, rightfully still  do not conform to the false or immoral demands of others..

I was really now fortunate I had great teachers here in Canada, in my public school, in high School and in University in Montreal Quebec, and all of them now   had treated me as a real person, respected me, and allowed me to speak. and to be heard as well.

Not one of them no one told me what I can talk about write about or what I cannot as well. At work as a Professional Engineer, or as a Professional Realtor with Re/Max I was allowed continually as a responsible, a mature adult to make my own decisions,  and top also carry out my responsibilities in the manner   I chose to do them as well.

So I have to admit it came to me as a shock firstly when I started to attend evangelical, Baptist Pentecostal churches in Canada now as an adult that that same right  to be respect, top speak, and to be heard, not to be bullied, falsely oppressed. Legal and Human rights that  I had before, often now did not exist in the churches surprisingly now of all places. Never saw so many control freaks, human rights abusers  in my whole life next to the too often bad cops now too.  And perversely many a despotic, crooked elder, pastor had wrongfully tried to shut me up, and even next had resorted next to slander me, to try to discredit me and what I had said,  or whatever,  now even both in Quebec and in Alberta.

But like I have often said elsewhere the Evangelical church was not the only place where they tried to deny me my right to speak and to be heard now, for too often too and unacceptable the Alberta bullies, rednecks now  on the net had wrongfully tried often and falsely to suppress my right of free speech, but next so did not too many a Politician, particularly,  ironically again both the professing Christian ones, and the definitely alcoholic ones now too.. what they were falsely deluded that only politicians had the right of free speech and the right to be heard it seems too .

Next too many bad police officers as well did not like me openly, publically complaining about the too often bad cops, bad RCMP had encountered in Alberta, Quebec, and not just the too many bad pastors, elders too, and in other provinces as well.. and what these bad  cops, bad watchdogs,  forget they are here to serve the good welfare of the citizens? for  they are not our despotic slave drivers.. nor are their bosses for that matter now too.

Now what bothered them all now so much that they had tried to shut me up? my transparency, honesty, or it seems the mere exercise of  case of my rights . For in reality it seems at least 10 percent of the persons even on the net seem to be control freaks, bullies, human rights abusers.

I often read complaints on the net from  some child complaining  that that one of their parents is verbally abusing them, or even a spouse complain that  their spouse is abusing them.  I have heard people tell me how pastors had abused them as well. Children and spouses sometimes are forced to put up with it?? But not me, for I am not a child, rather a matured adult, a retired senior in fact. And I can clearly, rightfully speak for myself and talk on any topic now as I so desire as well as we all can readily see and I do so now too. And for the good of us all now too.

Beware always of men and women, bullies, tormentors, control freaks,  persons, civil and public servants,  politicians, pastors, leaders, elders, who falsely do, will try to enslave you, oppress you, exploit you even while they claim they are proclaiming the truth, democracy, trying to help you, etc.,

Is 51:23 ..your tormentors {and} oppressors, those who said to you, Bow down, that we may ride {or} tread over you; and you have made your back like the ground and like the street for them to pass over.

In generally in the more   liberal society of Canada both the wife and the children tend to have much more freedom, rights, make their own decisions,  over many other countries and as a result the culture shock is a very real problem for some new immigrant spouses where the husband was used to being obeyed, and being the sole head of the home  thus  it’s not altogether uncommon for some of the new immigrant  home situations to become  unacceptably violent.

Here also is what I know for sure, the older the person is the more extreme, more severe, the more difficult the punishment has  to be on them to cause them to personally to change in their own  negative ways, for they are too set in them now too.
