Anti suicide watch..

Serious Anti suicide watch..

1: Not personally getting enough qualitative sleep.. it is not just how much sleep you get, minimum 8 hours, but how well you sleep that also counts. Valid Experts recommend that adults get between seven and eight hours of sleep each night to maintain good health and optimum performance.

2: Not personally now getting proper food intake can also lead to severe depression and very poor health next, severe health problems.. skipping out on meals..

3: Activity rut.. many people who have now set into  a none changing activities, environments, a habitual routine, are  next prone to be seriously depressed and they do not even know why?  Taking a new,  totally different activity, or making a personal life schedule change is often the same as a beneficial vacation for some persons.. even many professionals, college professors..

4: Many college students show clear classical sign of depression after being in school for a long period of time, working hard.

5: Many people get depressed when they get older, and lose a lot of friends, and have no one to talk to , just listening to them for a few minutes a day will really help them too.

6: Many people get depressed because they are being falsely enslaved, oppressed, bullied by the bad persons.  Or they have too often listened to the bad advice  of others.

7: Poverty or even the opposite of having too much wealth can lead to thoughts of suicide, because of one’s inability to deal with the present circumstances effectively. Often brought on by too much self reliance.

8: Persons who are overly lazy, unrealistic, have or follow a wrong value system, ill advised goals, continue to  do bad things, they will next be easily depressed too. Ironically they will next often  blame others for their depressions, bash others for it too.

I have often helped many a poor, depressed person, not by any medications, but by  simply by changing their daily normal activity routine, and next by taking them for a drive into the country, or taking them to see a good film, a comedy, or Giving them some good movies to watch, or by me taking them to a fine food restaurant, or by me taking them for a long  walk through unfamiliar surroundings.. and it worked.. it actually next had broke them out of their long term depression.

Can’t change positively   the person? try first changing their surroundings, environment temporarily?

Most depressed persons,  about 75 percent,  can be helped with out more serious medical consultations it seem.

Did you yourself now know the major cause of depressions and suicides., despair include.. you might be depressed seriously and not even know it too…

Feeling down from time to time is a normal part of life. But when sadness takes hold and won’t go away, it may be depression. More than just the temporary “blues,” the lows of depression make it tough to function and enjoy life like you once did. A person with severe depression has little or no interest in work or hobbies, and may even have trouble getting out of bed.  With treatment and help, you can feel better. Learning how to understand depression – including its signs, symptoms, and causes – is the first step towards next honestly,  realistically recognizing and overcoming the root main problem, causes and not just trying suppress or to deal with the symptoms..

Depression is a major risk factor for suicide. There is a slow suicide approach as well, even brought on by ongoing  problems, self pity, guilt, persecutions, oppressions Recognition of the problem can immediately  lead to 90 percent of the solution.  http://pbulow.tripod.com/

While DEPRESSION is one of the most common mental illnesses even caused often mostly by external factors,  it  often can easily be cured, dealt with if not neglected, and it is rarely fatal thus.

RESULTING PERSONAL DEPRESSION ITSELF IS basically CAUSED by biochemical imbalances in the brain involving the hormone cortisol and the neurotransmitters serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine. The tendency toward this chemical imbalance can be inherited, causing depression to run in families. A deep emotional loss may also trigger biochemical changes that cause depression. Or the brain chemistry can change for no apparent reason.

Other diseases, including thyroid conditions, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, hormonal imbalances, multiple sclerosis and some forms of cancer, can cause depression. Usually, treating the underlying diseases relieves the depression?

People suffering from chronic illnesses such as arthritis or heart disease may develop depression. For them, treating the depression often makes it easier to cope with the other chronic illness?

While virtually anyone can develop depression, the people most likely to do so include—

  • Relatives of depressed people, who are about twice as likely as average to become seriously depressed themselves

  • Women, who suffer depression about twice as often as men

  • The baby boom seniors,  generation, currently considered at greatest risk of all age groups

  • The elderly, often as a reaction to physical deterioration and the loss of friends, families and rewarding activities

  • Children who have suffered abuse or losses or who have a seriously depressed parent

  • Chronically ill people

  • Drug and alcohol abusers

TREATMENTS FOR DEPRESSION typically have high success rates, especially when recognized, admitted, PROPERLY DIAGNOSED.  While only a third of people suffering from depression seek treatment, about 85 percent of those who receive adequate treatment have good results. It is ironic many people who too often mainly see others as  being the sole cause of their own problems fail to see their own effective, proper solutions to it. We need not to lose a proper self perspective, solution now as well.

Britain has one of the highest suicide rates in Europe. Each year in the UK over 5000 people take their life. The Samaritans estimate that in the UK there is a suicide every 82 minutes. The charity Depression Alliance estimates that each year there are around 19,000 suicide attempts by UK adolescents whilst more than 2 million children attend GP’s surgeries with some kind of psychological or emotional problem. Each day, two people under the age of 24 commit suicide.

People kill themselves for a variety of reasons. Sometimes drugs and alcohol are a factor, as are social factors, poverty, deprivation, mental illness,  or  “psychiatric injury”. The difference is important because injury has an external cause – in other words, something – or someone – is liable. The differences between mental illness and psychiatric injury are often not recognized; understanding the differences could alter the verdict, perhaps from suicide to manslaughter. To see the differences between mental illness and psychiatric injury.  Psychiatric injury- Bullying, harassment and abuse cause injury to health, which is often diagnosed as stress and anxiety but may also include severe depression. http://www.bullyonline.org/stress/suicide.htm

We also all do need to learn to deal effectively and not by an ostrich approach with unresolved stress, life’s problems, Bullies and much more..  https://thefocusonthefamily.wordpress.com/

There is no single cause for depression. Many factors play a role including genetics, environment, life events, medical conditions, and the way people react to things that happen in their lives.

How Is Depression Different From Regular Sadness?

Everyone has some ups and downs, and sadness is a natural emotion. The normal stresses of life can lead anyone to feel sad every once in a while. Things like an argument with a friend, a breakup, doing poorly on a test, not being chosen for a team, or a best friend moving out of town can lead to feelings of sadness, hurt, disappointment, or grief. These reactions are usually brief and go away with a little time and care.

Understanding Depression

http://www.helpguide.org/mental/depression_signs_types_diagnosis_treatment.htm

There’s a vast difference between “feeling depressed” and suffering from clinical depression. The despondency of clinical depression is unrelenting and overwhelming. Some people describe it as “living in a black hole” or having a feeling of impending doom. They can’t escape their unhappiness and despair. However, some people with depression don’t feel sad at all. Instead, they feel lifeless and empty. In this apathetic state, they are unable to experience pleasure. Even when participating in activities they used to enjoy, they feel as if they’re just going through the motions. The signs and symptoms vary from person to person, and they may wax and wane in severity over time. Doing nothing about it generaly makes it worse next.

Why Do People Get Depressed?

I am too busy to have time to have a depression or to deal with my depression is not a realistic  approach as well.

Take the time to read all of  the pages here, it will help you or someone else. Life requires our personal positive continual adaptation to the ongoing, changing events that surround our life.

More Booze Taxes Lower Alcohol-Linked Deaths

Raising state taxes on alcohol may trigger an immediate drop in the number of people who die from alcohol-related disease, new research reveals.  The finding is based on the particular experience of Alaska, following that state’s two legislative moves to raise taxes on beer, wine and liquor in 1983 and 2002. In the first instance, the research team observed a 29 percent decline in deaths from alcohol-related disease; in the second, the apparent drop was 11 percent. “The real bottom line is that the increase in the alcohol tax saved lives,” said study lead author Alexander C. Wagenaar, a professor of epidemiology with the College of Medicine at the University of Florida in Gainesville. The study was funded by the Substance Abuse Policy Research Program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. To gauge the impact of alcohol taxes on alcohol-related disease fatalities, the authors analyzed U.S. National Center for Health Statistics data from 1976 through 2004. They tallied the number of men and women who died from a range of alcohol-related conditions, both in Alaska and across the United States, before and after Alaska’s two tax bumps. Such diseases include cirrhosis, cancer of the mouth, cancers of the esophagus, breast cancer, and a number of other pancreatic and cardiac illnesses. Alongside alcohol-related injuries and accidents, such illnesses make up the estimated 85,000 alcohol-fueled deaths occurring in the United States annually. And it should be pointed out that in public health, if we do something that reduces the death rate by just 3 or 5 percent, that’s considered to be a major success. And these tax increases reduced the risk of death from alcohol-related disease far more substantially than that.” “Just think of the healthcare cost that would be saved if we reduced the death rates across the whole country. And this is absolutely something that’s not impossible to do.” “So this study reaffirms this effect and its impact, in terms of alcohol. And it suggests that any change in public health messages concerning alcohol consumption should also involve a change in taxes, and therefore prices, as an effective means for ensuring improved health for the community.”http://health.usnews.com/articles/health/healthday/2008/11/13/booze-taxes–lower-alcohol-linked-deaths.htmlhttp://www.cspinet.org/booze/taxguide/TaxIndex.htm

“So, the implication for the other states and the country as a whole is quite amazing,”

Sarah Palin … going and going and going

Washington  Tina Fey believes that Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin looks five times better than her. Fey, who has been applauded for her impersonation of the Alaska governor on ‘Saturday Night Live’, didn’t think she resembled Palin that much at first.”When I first saw her, I didn’t think we looked alike at all. Then during the convention , I started to think, ‘Ok, maybe a little’,” Usmagazine quoted her, as saying.

Now, Fey wishes she looked more like Palin. “I’ll tell you, that lady is five times better-looking than I am. “

Sarah Palin looks better than Fey to many of the Republican women supporters of Sarah Palin in more ways than just  looks, Sarah Plain she acts and looks like a good mother, a good wife, a good time manager and administrator as well. Sarah Palin, who keeps on going and going and going, she has certainly re-energized the republican party supporter, the women voters now as well and this is why some liberals, democrats are wrongfully so upset now at Sarah Palin and falsely try so hard to put her down.

Understandably and Undeniably the most read posts and the top searches even on this site has been Sarah Palin and not Barrack Obama.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Actor Alec Baldwin on Monday called Sarah Palin “a good sport” for confronting her comedy double Tina Fey on “Saturday Night Live” — and the Republican vice-presidential candidate said she’d do it again “in a heartbeat.”

After weeks of being lampooned by comedian Fey, Palin’s appearance on the late night sketch show gave “Saturday Night Live” its best ratings in 14 years, drawing roughly 14 million viewers, according to early estimates by TV network NBC.

Abortion of older children, teens too

Favorite Christian based reading, resources,

One thing is still very clear the too often pretentious news media and  the too often pretentious  politicians are not actively doing their jobs in helping people to be informed, having the proper facts to be able to make the proper decisions, take the proper actions, so do thank God for the existence of the internet, no matter how imperfect now it itself is as well.. it offers now at least some valid truths to the discerning readers.

Abortion of older children, teens too

Children left at Nebraska hospitals: more details
Several teenagers and pre-teens left by families at Nebraska hospitals over the past several weeks are mentally ill or have severe behavioral problems, according to the Omaha World-Herald.
The newspaper reports today that families sought help for these violent or out-of-control kids, unsuccessfully.
—  A 15-year-old boy who would punch holes in the wall at home and throw things in school.  His father is described in court records as “psychotic and a drug user who had been convicted of misdemeanor child abuse,” the World-Herald reports.
The boy was living with an aunt;  when she tried calling a statewide human services hotline  “she got no useful information,” the newspaper said.  Separately, officials with Nebraska’s child welfare division told the aunt the state couldn’t intervene unless the boy committed a crime.
—   A 13-year-old girl who’d been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, fetal alcohol syndrome, and severe behavioral problems.   She was prone to fly into rages and and had been living at Boys Town until her great aunt removed her at the beginning of the summer, concerned that the girl was being medicated too heavily.
After the girl smeared her menstrual blood on the walls of her house, the “aunt called agencies for help but said she could not find a program,” the World-Herald reports.   When the girl tried to jump out of a moving car, her great aunt took her to a hospital and asked for help.
“I can’t do nothing for her anymore.  It’s too dangerous,” she told the Omaha newspaper.
—   A 15-year-old boy who’d been diagnosed with depression and using drugs.   Over the summer, the boy had been found carrying marijuana and had run away from home before entering a diversion program.   When police brought him back, he reportedly began to express suicidical intentions.
His uncle, the boy’s guardian, took him to an Omaha hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, but the hospital refused to admit the teeanger when he said he wasn’t suicidal.
“Fearing for his life, that’s when I made the decision that I made,” said the uncle, who then turned the teenager in under Nebraska’s new “safe haven” law, according to the World-Herald.
—  An 11-year-old boy  who’d threatened to kill his mother and siblings.   The World-Herald reports that the mom arranged for the boy to be admitted to a psychiatric hospital but that he refused to take his medications.
“She has exhausted all of her options,” according to a police report cited by the World-Herald.
Under Nebraska’s new “safe haven” law — the last in the nation — seven teens have been dropped off at hospitals over the past several weeks by parents or guardians.   The Nebraska law is the only in the U.S. that doesn’t set an age limit on children who can be handed over to authorities, no questions asked.
In Nebraska, the debate now centers around the adequacy of services for families with troubled kids.   A lack of resources prevents families from receiving needed help, advocates claim in another story published by the Omaha World-Herald today.
“There’s not enough places to turn,” said Eve Bleyhl, executive director of the Nebraska Family Support Network, quoted in the paper.
Nebraska human services officials dispute that allegation.  According to the World-Herald, the director of the state’s department of health and human services said a review of cases “had not turned up problems with the state’s system for responding to families in crisis.”
The case that’s received the most attention involves a father who deposited 9 of his 10 children, ages 1 to 17, at an Omaha hospital.  It’s not clear from news reports if any of the children were seriously disturbed.
This is an issue that is resonating with people across the country.  Many of you responded to my Friday post, and it appears many of you think the dad who relinquished responsibility for his nine kids did the right thing, especially if the alternative was abuse and neglect.
Unfortunately, we still don’t know a lot about what happened in this particular case.
Did the father call family members and ask for their support?   Did he call service agencies and admit that he needed help?   Did the children have any advance warning?    Or were they caught by surprise, faced with losing their home and their sole remaining parent after their mother died suddenly a year and a half before?
Nebraska lawmakers will now consider whether the state’s new law needs to be changed to narrow its scope to babies and infants, the World-Herald reports.http://newsblogs.chicagotribune.com/triage/2008/09/children-left-a.html

One suspects that these “unintended results” are adding to the strain on diminishing state resources but it also reveals a hidden problem: children — from babies to teens — are living in situations where their parents can’t or are incapable of caring for them properly.   What kind of society so eagerly wants to put these children back behind the curtain and ignore the issue? Yes, some of the parents may be selfish or lazy or addicts. Or they might be mentally or physically ill, or plagued by mortgage foreclosures, staggering health bills, or job lay-offs.    The primary focus should be on helping the children whose parents don’t want them or can’t care for them, not on “fixing” the system to prevent parents from dumping their kids.

The safe haven law performed beyond expectations. It reveals a need for our society to provide more resources for children whose parents would abandon them for whatever reason.

Shame on the legislators, public health officials and the wider media for wanting to sweep under the rug this truth that emerged from Nebraska’s new law.

I actually have often encountered  females who thought that once they got married they next would not have to do anything, to do any work anymore, for the husband would fully look after them, the children, and supply them all of  their needs.  Now there were, are some slave  drivers, the bad men who thought the women  would do all the work around the home too. Marriage is a joint efffort!  And so what happened to  (Gen 3:19 KJV)  In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

It is a generally established fact, requirement that both of the parents equally have the full responsibility as much as they are able to do so as well, to properly, reasonably  bring up their own chidden, not the state itself now, that includes them working to provide food, clothing, shelter,  safety as well as  providing proper education for them, preparing them to handle an adequate job, marriage now included. There is no question that some even professing Christian parents, too often one parent now , falsely  have renegade on their responsibilities, they were lazy parents, some with unrealistic expectations from their spouses now too, and this has occurred world wide. I have often encountered now even teens under 18 who were abandoned by their professing Christian parents, who wanted to use the money rather on themselves absented, and their children thus were unable to get by now on their own , basically forced to live on the street as beggars..

So US State Safe haven laws were supposedly designed to allow potential abuse children be protected from any further abuse. For what ever reasons there are direct parents, both in non divorced and in divorced families that refuse to support their children any further.

” For years, child-welfare experts have disagreed about whether safe-haven laws reduce the total number of abandoned children.  Neb. lawmakers consider revising ‘safe-haven’ law By TIMBERLY ROSS – 2 hours ago  OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — When Nebraska lawmakers passed a unique “safe-haven” law that allowed parents to abandon children as old as 18, they never seriously thought such dropoffs would become common. But their worst fears have come true: At least 16 children, some of them teenagers, have been abandoned since the law took effect in July. Now elected officials are considering revising the law, and at least one anguished parent said he only surrendered his kids because he felt he had no choice. “If we see another family being left off, then we’re going to have to do something immediately,” said state Sen. Arnie Stuthman, who introduced legislation that was the basis for the law.  Stuthman said lawmakers need to set a maximum age for children who can be handed over to the state, and he’s not sure whether it can wait until the Legislature reconvenes in January. But it’s not clear whether Gov. Dave Heineman will call a special session to modify the law, even though he has said it should be changed. For now, the law permits caregivers to abandon children at state-certified hospitals without fear of prosecution. It was intended to protect infants, but was amended to include the word “child,” which isn’t defined. So some have concluded the law covers all minors, which in Nebraska includes anyone under the age of 19. The latest example happened Wednesday, when an out-of-work widower left nine of his 10 children at an Omaha hospital, saying he was overwhelmed by family responsibilities. Gary Staton went to Creighton University Medical Center to surrender his five sons and four of his daughters, who ranged in age from 1 to 17. He did not bring his oldest daughter, 18. Staton’s wife died in early 2007, shortly after giving birth to their 10th child. The man told police he hasn’t worked since July and was struggling to make ends meet. “I was with her for 17 years, and then she was gone. What was I going to do?” Staton said to Omaha television station KETV. “We raised them together. I didn’t think I could do it alone. I fell apart. I couldn’t take care of them.” Calls by The Associated Press to a number listed for Staton went unanswered Friday. A number of relatives have volunteered to take the Staton siblings, said Kathie Osterman, a spokeswoman for the state department of Health and Human Services. She said the children may be temporarily placed with those family members until a judge decides on permanent custody. Osterman said Staton never asked relatives for help. Todd Landry, director of the division of Children and Family Services, said the safe-haven law was designed to help children who are in danger, but none of the kids who were dropped off had been in harm’s way. In addition to Staton’s kids, two unrelated boys were left Wednesday at a different Omaha hospital. Landry said he empathizes with parents who struggle to raise their families, but “it is the job of a parent to be a parent.” He said there are resources to help them. James Blue, president and CEO of the Lincoln-based nonprofit Cedars, which works with abused and neglected children, said he’s been inundated with calls ever since the safe-haven law took effect. He said the group gets more than 10 calls a day from struggling parents, and its temporary shelter is at its capacity of 15. “While this (law) has, I think, exposed an underbelly of our society of families that are dropping teenagers off forever at a hospital, it has also given a message to families that there is help out there,” Blue said. He said it’s important for the state to have a safe-haven law, but there needs to be an age limit for the children who are left behind.  Nebraska lawmakers tried for years to pass the law, and they succeeded this year only after intense debate. Senators worried that an age limit was too arbitrary and that it might endanger youngsters who were just a week too old.
“It does open a door to older children being left off,”

In case you did not know it there are lazy, no good bad wives, uprepared for marriage still too not just the lazy no good bad hsubands. There are still  also the good and bad parents too.

(Prov 18:22 KJV)  Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.

(Prov 31:10 KJV)  Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
11  The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12  She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
13  She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
14  She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
15  She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
16  She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
17  She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
18  She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
19  She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
20  She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
21  She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
22  She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
23  Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
24  She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
25  Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
26  She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
27  She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28  Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29  Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30  Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
31  Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

(Eph 6:4 KJV)  And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

(1 Tim 5:8 KJV)  But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
9  Let not a widow be taken into the number under threescore years old, having been the wife of one man,
10  Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints’ feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.
11  But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to wax wanton against Christ, they will marry;
12  Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith.
13  And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.
14  I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.
15  For some are already turned aside after Satan.
16  If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed.

The nomination of Republican vice President Sarah Palin has certainly sparked interest

Some persons wrongly try to advocate that Pentecostalism is a modern day religion that now is found solely in the United States originally whereas others do rightfully maintain rather it  is a revived New Testament form of Biblical Christianity. It is now a major world wide Charismatic branch of Christianity

There are various brands of Pentecostalism today but they all mostly tend to believe in similar aspects of their version of Christianity but not all. There is clearly one  false sect in this grouping now too.

The nomination of Republican vice President Sarah Plain has certainly sparked  interest world wide into the Pentecostal religion, and now many persons world wide as well as in the Americas do seek, do want to know seriously what is difference basically  about this Christian religion from the other existing differing Christian religions.

The Christians now already  all supposedly believe in Jesus Christ as firstly being God, Jesus also being the promised Old testament Messiah as well, they the Christians they do all tend to believe in the existence also of the Holy Trinity too ,  where the personal Sprit of Christ, the Holy Spirit is also manifested as a separate personal entity who  carries  on the work of Jesus Christ ongoing in the genuine  Christian Believer’s personal life. It is estimated that only 30 percent of all Christian believers are genuine, actually practicing Christians  in the various Christian churches

And  all Christians tend to generally believe in the same Bible, the Old and New Testament  as being now the true revealed word of God to us all even about Jesus, the apostles, and the Christian church as well.

The Pentecostals tend to separately now believe that God speaks continually to each Christian  believer now as well personally, even outside of the Word of God, the Bible, by means of the Holy Spirit, and the Pentecostals tend to believe in the separate personal need of receiving the anointing, the Baptism of the  Holy spirit personally in one’s life , this now is clearly a separate experience from the experience of receiving one’s initial personal salvation, eternal life by faith in the innocent, sacrificial, shed blood of Jesus Christ.

The majority of the Pentecostals tend to believe in manifesting one of the the Charismatic gifts of the Holy spirit, often tongues , as evidence of now being personally baptized with the Holy spirit. .

They the Pentecostals do tend to  believe in the manifestations of the charismatic’s gifts of the Holy Spirit as being applicable today as well, whereas other Pentecostal limit it to solely speaking in tongues, and Pentecostals often do personally practice praying for personal, physical healing, even by the laying of hands on others, as well as the ministry of casting out demons out of individuals too.

Needless to say there are different versions by non Pentecostals about what a Pentecostal now are even, some lying and distorted too, depending on who you talk to as well.

The Pentecostals also do tend to believe in the local church being run by elders, apostles, prophets, bishops and not rather by a single one man ministry of a local Pastor.

Tithing is mandatory in some Pentecostal churches and in other it is not.

The Pentecostal  Church services tend to be vastly different, but not always, some churches are more active in participatory services of worshiping God in songs, tongues, and in prophecies and they also tend to have longer prayer services , and also longer, more diverse, less predictable  church services than many other supposedly Christian denominations.
