Friendly, Friends, Soulmate, Friendship, Companion

A good definition of a good friend is a person  who is has a mutual reciprocal relationship with you where you can ask them to do something for you and they will do it  and not say selfishly why? what is it in it for me?  as opposed to a one sided,  selfish, control freak, give me, give me, give it to me relationship.

(Ruth 2:13 KJV)  Then she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be not like unto one of thine handmaidens.

(Prov 18:24 KJV)  A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

(Phil 2:25 KJV)  Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellowsoldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants.

(Mat 12:50 KJV)  For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

(Psa 119:63 KJV)  I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.

(Prov 13:20 KJV)  He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

(Prov 28:7 KJV)  Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father.

(Prov 28:24 KJV)  Whoso robbeth his father or his mother, and saith, It is no transgression; the same is the companion of a destroyer.

(Mal 2:14 KJV)  Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

(Rev 1:9 KJV)  I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

(Mat 25:33 KJV)  And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.   34  Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35  For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36  Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.  37  Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38  When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39  Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?  40  And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. 41  Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42  For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43  I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44  Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45  Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

We all do have a natural desire to be loved, accepted by others, to have good friends. and this same desire can become  misused .. false persons can misuse  it, and/or we can go overboard in our desire to please others too..

Now everyone should be part of a valid social network, community, have good friends, but they must also be able to live alone, to stand up for their own rights, values, respect too.

All persons are also still known by the company they do keep now also.

Money the root of all evil

Some people tend today to say that most of the martial divorces tend to be over money.. initially that is not often the case, there are other reasons for the maritial disputes, fights too.. even factors such as fighting over control-the power struggle, laziness, unrealistic expectations, even sexual lusts.. etc.,

But next often it does seems that when you are first in love, and poor you are willing to share with your spouse everything, even your bank account.. the problem tends to next arise when the money hungry spouse is seduced by money.. she  or he gets an inheritance, a gift from a relative, brother and sister, and they are no longer willing to share with their spouse their new found fortune.. and the daily quarrels, fights of over the money, jealousies start to escalate.  even with people who have been now married  now for 50 years too.

Are there solutions to this conflict.. Should a husband a wife always , soley have a joint bank account?

sadly in reality here most people seem to end up divorcing before being willing to share ,and as a result tend to lose it all rather next to the courts, lawyers instead.

(Job 2:10 KJV)  But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

(Job 5:2 KJV)  For wrath killeth the foolish man, and envy slayeth the silly one.

(Ezek 13:3 KJV)  Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

(1 Cor 1:20 KJV)  Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

(1 Cor 1:27 KJV)  But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

(1 Tim 6:9 KJV)  But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 9  But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10  For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 11  But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

(Titus 3:3 KJV)  For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

(1 Pet 4:2 KJV)  That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

(1 Pet 4:3 KJV)  For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:

(2 Pet 2:18 KJV)  For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

(2 Pet 3:3 KJV)  Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

(Jude 1:16 KJV)  These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.

(Jude 1:18 KJV)  How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
